Background Client wanted to expand into a new space that would present a fresh take on their established brand, emphasizing transparency and adaptability. Their logo features a pair of paneled doors and a “swoosh” of red. We incorporated those elements throughout the space, starting with statement entry doors and panel moulding in the elevator lobby as the first touchpoint. The reception area built on these elements, flipping the moulding to the ceiling with a coffered ceiling element and repeating the wood tone of the entry doors, this time in the form of a simple slat screen.
a balancing act
Shades of the brand’s signature red were used throughout the space, but in the break area, we chose to lean away from the red into some deep navy blue to provide a contrasting feel to the space. We strove for a balance between fresh and modern and timeless classic when selecting and placing finishes and fixtures, in order to honor both the established tone of the brand and its commitment to evolving with the times.
